Sustainability and veganism are things I value highly in both my personal life and my business. The devastating and catastrophic effects of the modern world on the health of the planet, particularly that of the fashion industry, means we must consciously make decisions in order to reduce our footprint. These decisions must come from both the designer and the consumer, from the garments we make to the garments we decide to buy. For that reason, I am proud to exclusively use an innovative plant-based yarn which, being both environmentally friendly and vegan, is the first of its kind. Introducing: AMNI Soul Eco Bio Nylon.

SUSTAINABILITY 

AMNI Soul Eco is part of a new generation of eco-friendly textiles that considers the material's impact on the planet from the manufacturing process to the end of the yarn’s lifecycle.

-Made in an eco-friendly, closed-loop system where 99% of the water used is recycled, reducing the use of virgin water.

-Preserves the ozone layer by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The small amount of gasses that are created are taken care of safely before they are released into the air. 

-AMNI Soul Eco production doesn’t involve the use of harmful substances. It qualifies as Standard 100 Class 1 yarn: Toxic free, safe and gentle for even the most sensitive, delicate skin. 

-AMNI fabric is made using an enhanced polyamide and manufactured in a way that it is easier and faster for bacteria to digest which means it bio-degrades (in the right environment) in 3-5 years, as opposed to 50+ years for synthetic fibres.

-Bio-nylon is as durable as its synthetic alternatives, however, is able to decompose into organic matter when deprived of oxygen. The quality and integrity will not deteriorate during standard usage. 

-Unlike any other bio-degradable yarn such as sheep's wool, Bio-nylon is a plant-based rather than animal-derived product making it vegan and thus not harming animals.

PHYSICAL QUALITIES

Besides its technical properties, Amni-Soul Eco sets the bar high when it comes to its physical qualities. It is;
